Clark College & Battle Ground Public Schools

The Battle Ground Public Schools ESL Department is partnering with Clark College to provide English instruction for adults, beginning winter quarter 2017. Course work emphasizes conversational English with attention given to reading, speaking, listening, US culture and BGPS information.

How to Enroll–Orientation/Registration Information

To register, come to an English as a Second Language (ESL) Information Session to learn about classes and to sign up for winter quarter 2017. Classes begin January 9, 2017.

All information sessions are held at Clark College, Gaiser Hall, Room 213. Friends & family can also attend.

No registration is needed for the information session, please bring your photo I.D.

BGPS Dates and Location:

Winter Quarter 2017, January 10 – March 16, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00pm – 8:50pm*Spring Quarter 2017, April 11 – June 15, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00pm-8:50pm*

*Each class is a six-hour per week, ten week commitment

Location: Lewisville Campus, 406 NW 5th Avenue, Battle Ground, Room C25

After-school Tutoring and Daycare Provided

Battle Ground Public Schools will provide tutoring/daycare in room 24C, Lewisville, for children whose parents are attending English classes. Parents are asked to register their children prior to the academic quarter by calling the Battle Ground Public Schools ESL Department at (360) 885-5439.

Fees and Contact Information

Students will be charged $25.00 tuition per quarter. For financial help or registration questions, contact the Clark College Basic Skills Office at (360) 992-2741.
